Today's Cleanup was wonderful, and our neighborhood is cleaner and more beautiful!!

Hi Brightwood:

Today's cleanup in Brightwood was amazing. We picked up 31 bags of trash on 14th Street from Military to Tuckerman, the 1300 blocks of Fort Stevens Drive, Peabody, Rittenhouse, Somerset, and Sheridan, and even more trash on the 1400 blocks of Fort Stevens Drive, Peabody, Rittenhouse, and Sheridan.

I want to thank the neighbors that came out early in the morning to help clean for over 2 hours: Sophia, Olu, Pam, Maria, Grace, Jeffrey, Jean, Kate, Monica, Tara, and the little ones that came with Mom and Dad. I also thank our neighbors Billy and David for donating a table and chairs for the sign-in area and Monica for managing the sign-up table. Additionally, I thank the Mayor's Office of the Clean City for donating cleaning supplies and CM Lewis George's office for promoting the cleanup.

Lastly, I thank fellow ANC Zack and his family for partnering on the cleanup and working together to make Brightwood Beautiful!!
