The Fort Stevens' clean-up on Saturday, Feb 11 was such a wonderful experience! Thank you
to all who came out and cleaned our beautiful neighborhood Civil War Memorial. When we finished, Fort Stevens was trash-free and gleaming in the sunshine! I also want to thank the Mayor's Office of Clean City DC for providing the cleaning supplies.
Commissioner Singleton and I are regularly discussing with the National Park Service to clean the Fort. From our initial discussion, this appears to be monthly or quarterly. I will keep you updated. Until then, enjoy Fort Stevens and the attached wonderful photos.
