Run, don't walk to our beautiful neighborhood Whole Foods!

Hi Brightwood:

This morning at 8 am, I attended the Whole Foods opening at The Parks at Walter Reed! Councilmember Lewis George participated in opening ceremonies and greeted hundreds of shoppers as they arrived to shop and celebrate. Two of my fellow 4A Commissioners, Paula Edwards and Joan Hoyte, also attended, shopped, and greeted elated neighbors.

The Whole Foods is beautiful, bright, shiny, and clean, with plenty of free parking. The large store has numerous departments and selections, including a coffee bar, hot pizza, fresh sushi, salad, hot food bar, lots of produce, seafood, and an impressive wine and beer selection.

I saw many neighbors at the opening, and we were all so excited and smiling - I loved it!! I look forward to seeing more neighbors shopping at our local Whole Foods and building a stronger and close-knit community 😁.

Happy Shopping,

Commissioner Kim Patterson
