Monday, May 6th, 6:30 pm–8 pm. Walter Reed LRA Community Advisory Committee Public Meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on May 6th. Meetings are a great way to learn about the progress of development at Walter Reed.

Tuesday, May 7th, 7-9 pm, Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4A. ANC 4A will hold its next monthly meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 7th. This meeting will be VIRTUAL. Online registration for virtual attendance can be found HERE. Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4A will host a virtual monthly meeting at 7 pm. FYI.. there will be an update shared about the National Links Trust/National Park Service rehabilitation plan for Rock Creek Park Golf Course and the proposed removal of over 1200 trees to create a driving range and put green.
Thursday, May 9th, 3:30 pm, Brightwood MPD Community Walk. Community members are invited to join ANC Commissioners, Commander Lavenhouse, and Officer Hamrick at 3:30 pm. This is your opportunity to walk your neighborhood with the Ward 4 MPD Commander, raise concerns, and ask questions. The walk will begin at the corner of Georgia & Sheridan.
Tuesday, May 14, 7 pm–9 pm: Brightwood Community Association (BCA) monthly meeting at St. John Church at 13th Street & Tuckerman.
Saturday, May 18th, 10:30 am—12:30 pm, BCA and ANC Neighborhood CleanUp. The Brightwood Community Association and ANC SMD 4A05 and 4A04 will hold a neighborhood Clean-up from 10:30 am–12:30 pm! Come out, make Brightwood shine, and show off how beautiful our neighborhood can be when trash is removed from our streets. We will meet on the 1200 block of Tuckerman in the grassy area of St. John Church.
